Just returned from two weeks at the riu cancun and had an amazing time. Please ignore the bad reviews as they are obviously from people who must just never be happy! 3 lifts and 16 or so floors, had to wait 5-10 mins for a lift nearly everytime. Avoid spring break at all costs as the hotel is way to busy. 1500 people but only 500 deck chairs, so you need to get up at 5.30am to find one. The Brazilian restaraunt and a few others you have to book so... more

my third time in this hotel, same good service but I believe they had change the cooks,the food is cheap and 80% its spicy,also the bread is terrible,they use to have Corona beer and now XX ,the white wine they have its terrible,what a shame.I would not recomend anymore this hotel to my friends until they improve the food. more
