This is not at all a luxury place, but was a great value for the money. Our room (private room with private bathroom) was clean and the air conditioning worked well. It's conveniently located by a trendy park that hosts free concerts nearly every night and is frequented by many locals. Breakfast was cornflakes and milk, with orange juice and... more

The rooms are very well cleaned each day and well sized. We stayed 8 days and for the first five our sink was repeatedly blocked. After this our toilet blocked as well and a plumber was called to fix the problem. The continental breakfast is very minimum. more

I stayed at Soberanis for 4 days and was quite satisfied. The price for a double room was about 40 USD per night, and for this we got a rather big room with two double beds, privat bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. There is an aircondition in the room, which is quite effective, but sadly very noisy! The room... more

After a minor accident at the cancun airport, we lost our outbound flight, so I had to stay an extra night in cancun, I considered Alux because it was 1 block from the bus station and had to grab the 4am bus to the airport. but since I was Alone I grabbed a taxi and asked him to take me... more

Downtown hotel, approximately 3 blocks from bus station. Clean but simple room. Comfortable bed. No elevators. Air Conditioner a little loud. Staff helpful. Continental breakfast not that great. Hospital across the street, told by cab driver that it might be noisy, but didn't notice any noise problem. I will stay there again. more

We stay there two nights, one at the beginning of our trip and another one at the end of our trip. The first night was not very good. The guy who was working at the reception that night was not very helpfull as our air conditionning stopped around midnight and we had to ask him 3 times to check but... more

Accomodation was of hotel standard at hostel prices. We paid approx £13 a night each for a twin room which came with AC and cable TV. Decent sized, clean rooms. Daily maid service and continental breakfast included. Very good downtown location, only 10 minutes to hotel zone by bus. Only complaint is that it was very noisy. We had several... more

for the price you're paying, this is a great little hostel. we did not book in advance. the airport shuttle driver took us here when we asked about affordable rooms in downtown. we asked for a corner room and we got it. the water was hot and the a/c worked, as it should. contintental breakfast of stale frosted flakes and... more

We stayed one night at Hostel Soberanis in downtown Cancun in June. It was very easy to get a reservation through the internet, it was cheap, about $40usd, clean, comfortable, it had AC, TV and continental breakfast included. The staff was helpful and friendly, they recommended us a good italian restaurant nearby. It's a fair hike from the bus station,... more
