We are frequent travellers to Cancun and the Mayan Riviera. We chose the Oasis given the 4 star rating, availability of an oceanview room and a very reasonable price. I only have one good thing to say about this hotel. The bed was very comfortable. I have been to Cancun 4 times and stayed in 4 different places and the bed was by far the most comfortable. We stayed at the Oasis Palm Beach for 2 weeks from 16th to 30th Oct. We booked with Thomas Cook and we were allocated a good sized room with a huge balcony (room 249 and we didn't pay extra for this) / king sized bed / air con / good sized shower / tv with quite a few english channels.... more

In all we had a fantastic time and never got bored once in the two weeks, the hotel was fine but we did pay an extra 30 dollars a day to move to a room with a balcony, an expense we could have done without but it did make a huge difference. Shame they feel the need to charge for... more
