We went in October of 2008 for our honeymoon for 2 weeks. We had the swim up suite and loved how the lazy river took you right into the pool and upto the swim up bar. Our room was well cleaned everyday and the jacuzzi next to the bed was amazing! The food at all of the restaurants were unreal!... more

When we first checked in we were asked to pay a $500 deposit to the reception for any incidentals as the hotel was all-inclusive we refused to pay it. As I drive we were very disappointed to find out the next day that there was no dive school on site, only tour agents selling 2 tank dives, we are pleased... more

This resort has set the bar for us! Stayed from 11/18/2009 until 12/02/2009. Was my thirty something trip, most of which have been all-inclusives, and this was by far the most amazing. My husband and I were planning a trip for our 15th anniversary. Our friend/ travel agent recommended the EL Dorado Royale and we were not dissapointed.
