Green 16 appears to be split into two very distinct parts - the hostel and the hotel - which I wasn't really that clear on when I made the booking. Under no circumstances would I recommend anyone to stay in the hostel which is basically any of the dorms or single room with shared bathroom.

Of course I wasnt expecting much given the price I paid, but upon arrival I was shown to a choice of two single rooms, both without locks (therefore no security) and generally quite grim. When I went to the showers there was no light so you were walking around in virtually complete darkness (actually quite eerie!) and the hot water wasn't working. The toilets were blocked and you can imagine the smell this created when people had carried on using them regardlessly. The next day and for the following week there was no water at all. The staff were giving the guests access to the private rooms for use of the ensuite showers and promised the issue would be resolved the following day but this... more
