Actually the mistake we made was to stay in Cancun! It is a horrible, pointless, trashy, americanised long strip of beach full of in-your-face hotels, restaurants and shopping malls!!! Like a cheap crap version of Las Vegas! And absolutely crawling with American tourists! Anyway, we only stayed there 1 night before heading back home and it was MORE than enough!... more

We stayed two nights in this hotel in October and found it to be an excellent. Hip hotel, great service staff and vibe. But the fundamentals need to improve. The poolside cuisine was not great, just okay at best. In its attempt to be hip and trendy NY, they might forget its a caribbean destination. More local music,better food.Overall, we loved the staff very professional and helpful. more

This hotel is very cool and has a great atmosphere but the one big thing that we didnt like is that the staff is watching your every move. They sit behind their desks and watch all of the guest on the camera monitors. They have security walking around everywhere and you get absolutely no privacy. Its so awkward walking in... more
