this resort was truly the best. the service was spectacular- the resort was phenomenal - immaculately kept. the food was gourmet!!! i have been to cancun mexico many times and this was the best i ever had. i will defintely be back. one tip-- the building blocks the sun- so by 3-4 the sun is completely blocked- so plan accordingly.... more

My wife and I arrived at The Royal and were unpleasantly surprised to find that the beach is currently closed for a massive reconstruction. It is actually worse in reality than it sounds, there are continuously tractors buzzing about (even in the middle of the night), there is pipe exposed on the beach, and the absense of the beach area... more
