I booked the room via email with "Peter". Their website says they take credit cards. We got there and it was conveniently not working. Asked where Peter was and they never heard of him. The place felt like it was abandoned. The rooms were horrible. No TV, beds were like sleeping on springs, the bathrooms were all moldy and paint... more

This Chichen Itza Area Hotel is one of the most beautiful oasis near Chichen Itza. It is in walking distance of the new 7th wonder of the world. We decided that one of those one-day tours was overpriced and wasn't enough to see everything. Hotel Piramide Inn is competitively priced. We started by spending the evening, and ended up staying... more

I'm always puzzled by just what it is travelers expect for only fifty bucks. At The Piramide Inn it's money well spent. Our room had the largest bathroom I've ever encountered short of mega-resorts. The A/C unit appeared to be brand new and functioned perfectly. The staff was friendly and the top floor photo gallery featuring the history of excavations... more

My aunt lives in Merida (2 hours from Chichen) & she had a family friend recomend this place due to my budget. It was ok for a one night stay. Not fancy what so ever. VERY basic. If you're looking for a place to just set down your things. This place is all you need. Linens & room appeared clean,... more

Our family of five stayed in Pyramide Inn when visiting Chichen Itza. We got a big aparment with two hours. Room was spacious but there was some problems also: sink was leaking water to the floor, and it was not possible to lock backdoor. Sink was promised to be fixed next day but it never happened. Garden was nice with... more

Don't judge this hotel by its website. I saw the Piramide Inn's website and was impressed by it so booked for 2 nights. When we arrived it was so run down...like something that would have been good in the 60's in its hey day. The rooms were relatively clean however the whole "resort" if you could call it this was... more

I was at Piramide inn with my son, where we stayed for 4 nights whilst visiting the nearby piramids. I must say that the place was quite enjoyable... the showers are up to standards for this area of the world, the pool is amazing! the waters were clean enough for my son to dive for coins at the bottom...the restaurant... more

We must warn you about this hotel if you are thinking of staying here. Based on all the reviews, half of which were good and half of which were bad, we decided to take the risk. It was a mistake. What we found out is that all the bad reviews are true! And we even took pictures so that you... more

You want to read this allll the way to the end.....trust me-where should i start. Well... It all began one hot summer day in july when a group of 150 students who paid 4 thousand dollars to be in a luxurious hotel .we were evacuated to the piramide inn in yucatan mexico. we arrived and were distressed to notice where... more

This hotel is more like a motel in appearance and has OK rooms which are not bad value for money. There is a lovely deep pool which is the hotel's best feature. The rooms have air con and there is some traffic noise but nothing too bad when I was there. The food I had in the evening was poor... more
