I am very disappointed in our stay at the Fiesta Americana. We booked two rooms through Expedia at $82.50 each per night. This is our fourth trip to Cozumel and our stays have ranged from budget type hotels (Hotel Cozumel) to more luxury type hotels (Cozumel Palace), all of which I would recommend. However, we had nothing but problems with... more

my wife and i stay at this hotel in january. overall- we were pretty impressed since we were able to book it through orbitz for around 60$ a night- what a great deal. the hotel was clean, nice pool and grounds. the rooms were nice as well. the issues were: no refrigerator (come on! we were in the carribean) so... more

Great place! We are from NH and just got back from this hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The nicest thing about it is that you are away from town in a more secluded area. So if you like all the beautiful things about this area and want to avoid the partying and noise this is your place. The staff... more

My wife and I arrived here April 8, 2008. Sometimes we prefer to stay at five star resort, but sometimes we just want to relax in a more laid back, casual atmosphere. This Fiesta American in Cozumel is just that place. We've stayed here four time before, and each time has been very nice. The staff is helpful, the rooms... more

My wife and I just returned from our second stay at the Fiesta Americana and I'd have to say we enjoyed it even more than last year. Although I can't disagree with the few gripes that others have written (small beach; somewhat limited food choices, firm mattress, etc.) we find these quite minor in the grand scheme of things, and... more

Just got back from a 5 day stay and we really enjoyed it. The hotel is very nice, the rooms very clean, and staff very polite and helpful. This was our second trip to Cozumel. Last time we stayed at the El Presidente the next resort north of the Fiesta Americana. That was before the hurricane. This hotel was much... more

My husband and I and another couple just returned from a 9-day trip to Cozumel and a stay at the Fiesta Americana. Our check in went well and we were even able to get connecting rooms on the second floor. I had read that the first floor kind of smelled, so it worked out well. There were times that you... more

My life partner and I went to check the FA in Cozumel out. His first time to Mexico. We fell so in love with the FA we choose to go back in April of 08 to get married. We were they just a few hours and we knew this was the place we wanted to exchange our wedding vows. more

Perhaps it's a "glass half-full" viewpoint... I keep reading the remarks that the F.A. is "just o.k." and I think "Were we staying at the same hotel???" We stayed at the F.A. Dive Resort March 24-31, with the all-inclusive option, and just loved the hotel. Loved the location, the room was clean, beautiful view of the ocean and pool, and... more

I am not a fan of all-inclusive resorts but the Fiesta Americana was surprisingly a good experience. The food was average (they don't believe in sugar) but I was blown away by the fact that they served full size beers and sodas. I am use to all-inclusive resorts that give you little cups half full of cheap beer and flat... more
