My wife and I went to the Fiesta Americana in Cozumel because we had stayed there 10 years ago for our 25th anniversary and really enjoyed it. Everything good that I read on tripadvisor about this hotel was totally true. Everything bad I read, such as slow service, etc., never occurred during my stay. I was in room 724 south tower and had internet service on my laptop, no problem. It really made it fun to download my dive pics and send them to family back home... more

If you happen to go to Cozumel the "dive house" at the Fiesta Americana is excellent! The dive masters are great as well as the gear they rent out! We certainly enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to go back someday! more

Beaches were empty. The staff is wonderful and accomodating. Great time. The Money Bar right down the road have live bands and dancing, and happy hour. Loads of fun! more

Stayed here May 23 -31 after spending 1 week in Akumal in a condo. Check in was very simple and the front desk was helpful. Our room was on the 7th floor and was efficient , spacious and clean. 3 couples in our 40's from MN, USA. Trip from April 29 to May 3, 2009. There are room safes in all rooms, but some are still missing the refrigerators. Very good value and no swine flu. Shops are willing to bargain since the cruise ships quit stopping. Order food from bartender and it's delievered to pool or pool bar.... more
