We stayed for 12 nights at Hotel Cozumel and resort. We did not do the all inclusive plan preferring to take advantage of the great location and walk to the incredible restaurants around town. The hotel is about 1/2 mile from the square and maybe a couple miles from the far end of town. For us this was a perfect... more

Overall our stay was very relaxing. When we weren't diving with Dive Paradise, we were relaxing poolside. It was very quiet due to flu scrare and we enjoyed the peace. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: Service was good, scuba access on premise, strong AC, Big Pool Cons: Bed very hard, alcohol bottom shelf, food just ok more

I'll look for other places to stay next time I'm in Cozumel. Probably either downtown or on the beach proper. The rooms were good, nothing special, although the furniture was a bit old. Good shower pressure. Housekeeping never provided enough of something every day - soap, shampoo, towels, coffee - very inconsistent. Front desk staff didn't know anything about their... more

This was our second trip to Hotel Cozumel (April 09), the hotel has made noticeable improvements over the past year. We were in a second floor room with two double beds; this was not bad we only heard the room above us a few times. I would recommend asking for a top floor room – if you do not mind... more

Had a wonderful week at Hotel Cozumel when many people were avoiding Mexico due to swine flu. No swine flu anywhere near Cozumel, but no cruise ships and very few people. The local economy is suffering but we enjoyed the relative quiet without cruise ship passengers all over town. Hotel Cozumel was even better than when we were there in... more

Hotel Cozumel is located close enough to downtown you can walk after a hearty meal in any of their fine dining establishments and far enough away you don't have to listen to the college kids at the Bars. If you want to dive, walk through the tunnel under the street and enter the crystal clear water full of life...or wait... more

This was our second time to Cozumel and first time staying in this hotel. Check in was a breeze and very pleasant, they gave us a cool drink and the process took all of 5 minutes. Our room was on the 3rd floor in a quiet corner of the hotel, which in Mexico with all the tiled floors is a... more

My husband and I stayed here for just a few days on our honeymoon. We were looking for something closer to town than other resorts. This one was within easy walking distance to downtown and the shopping center. We really only slept at the hotel. The beds were not the most comfortable and the night club held at the pool... more

Hotel Cozumel and Resort is an older hotel. The staff is constantly cleaning, painting, and improving the buildings and grounds(with minimal inconvenience to the guests). They have the largest swimming pool on the island with a bar and hot food available from 10:00am to close. Through a under street tunnel you reach the lunch restaurant and bar, dive shop, large... more

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Cozumel and Resort for one week. We had an excellent time. The hotel was clean and inviting, The location was wonderful for scuba diving. We had an all inclusive package which was pretty descent for the money. We will definitely stay here again. The pool and activities were great for our daughter. more
