El Cid La Ceiba seems to get better with each of our near-annual visits. The grounds have been refreshed and the rooms are spacious, nicely furnished, clean, and comfortable. The check in process was smooth and the lobby was alright. But that was all very deceiving. The 12 story tower has only 2 elevators, one of which was under going constant maintenance.
