The Scuba Diving is Great. Dive Palancar is the Dive operation on the resort grounds. They have dive boats going out four times a day. It's a five minute boat ride to all the reefs right off shore. My wife and I spent a week at OG in March 2009 and returned for 11 days in August 2009. Overall it's a great place to stay and we will be going back. We have just arrived home from a wonderful holiday in Cozumel. The surroundings are amazing, the rooms were lovely and the A/C worked wonders. The resident iguanas, armadillos, bull frogs, tortoises, geckos were a sight to be seen. We came from England and were blown away by Cozumel. The hotel is in an amazing setting with beautiful landscaped, tropical grounds; pools with tame iguanas hanging out (very used to having their picture taken!); nature reserves; and lots of activities to keep children and teenagers occupied whilst we were free to lounge on romatic shaded beds on the beach.... more
