Not a prude by any means. This resort is small...not a bad thing. If you have been to "Riu" or "Iberostar" resorts...dont expect this to be anywhere close. The big resorts have around 1000 guest..are newer and very modern. This resort had around 200. So while you get a personal feel and really get to know you fellow guest dont... more

I just returned from this hotel in june 2009. I traveled with two other friends and we were so impressed. First of all, it is a smaller hotel and we got to know many other guests. The spa visits were wonderful, professional, and reasonablly priced. The staff is great. Everyone was helpful. The wait staff and barenders go out of... more

My husband, my 18 year old daughter and I were at the Melia June 19 for a week. It was a great week, with no problems at all. We have been going to the Melia for years, but never went in June and we were a little nervous because we thought it might be too hot. It was not. The... more

Don't get me wrong the resort itself was beautiful. The beach was huge and amazing. The staff was great-Willian at the lobby bar makes the best drinks, Lorena our cleaning service was wonderful, and Ignacio the waiter in the main dining room was fantastic. But the food was NOT GOOD at all! I really am not a picky person but... more

My husband and I traveled with a group who scuba from June 17 to June 24. We had some initial problems with the AC in some rooms, but this hotel had just reopened after being closed due to lack of business from the swine flu scare. Our room was a good size with a balcony and view of the ocean.... more

We could snorkel right in front of the resort, the water was so clear and blue. The rooms were very nice, everything was so clean, not just in the rooms but... more

My family and I stayed in the Melia Cozumel in the second week of April. This is our 3rd stay in this hotel and we consider it a good option for traveling with children. The mini-club and the different activities during the date or at night for the kids are good and can give parents a bit of relaxing time.... more

The location is very good. Staff will go out of their way do help you out. Golf course is right across the street and in great shape. If you get golf as part of your package make sure you take your clubs. The cart fee is 30.00 per person and clubs are a minimum of 29.00 per day. The one... more
