Mi Casa en Cozumel is a small boutique hotel privately owned and operated right in the heart of downtown Cozumel. Modern but very cool, it offers only 9 guestrooms and suites to mantein the feeling of a Mexican villa with almost no separation between indoors and out. All rooms are models of modern simplicity originally inspired by the Yucatan haciendas and the barefoot chic of seaside cabanas. more » « less

We stayed at Mi Casa en Cozumel for a few days in June and loved the place. It is on a residential street just a few short blocks from downtown and 2 blocks from the ocean. We stayed in the top floor Zapote suite and had beautiful views of the ocean and much of the island from 3 or 4... more

This hotel has a very unique and beautiful design, the use of stucco, rocks, rough woods, plants and flowers used in the design is exceptional. Much of the furniture is also by the designer of the hotel. We were there during our tenth anniversary and stayed in the Zapote suite, which is a two level suite taking up the top... more

An excellent contemporary looking place, ideal if you're looking for something different and unique and not just another hotel. The rates are very decent considering the service and warm private atmosphere. Close enough to the sea and just a few blocks away from the downtown area. We loved it and enjoyed our stay very much. more

The only reason I didn't give Mi Casa a lower rating is because the manager, after I expressed my displeasure, refunded our money so that we could stay elsewhere. We booked at Mi Casa because we're independent budget travellers and prefer to stay at small, unique places. We booked the Tamarind room for USD $55/night, and paid everything in advance... more

We stayed a week with our two boys ages 17 and 15 and all had a terrific time. We had the top-floor Zapote suite with the adjoining Mora room which gave us a huge amount of space. The views from the 4 (or 5?) private balconies were great and the architecture is just amazing. Memo is a wonderful host (he... more

Very nice place to stay. The owner stayed up until 9:30 pm to wait for us. Our plane had been delayed 2 hrs. Room was clean and had everything we wanted. Breakfasts were more than enough for us. Kept us fueled until lunch. Location is very convenient to all restaurants in the town (San Miguel). 6 to 8 blocks would... more

During our visit in Cozumel in January, we stayed in a small design hotel called Mi Casa en Cozumel and it was a fantastic idea! Our room was the Zapote master suite on the top floor of the building. The suite is structured on two levels: a spacious living area and full kitchen on one floor and the bedroom with... more

This is a jewel of a botique hotel/B&B. We spent Christmas week here in the first floor junior-suite and would go back in the blink of an eye. There are only 9 rooms and all are designed with a balcony or at least one patio. Our party rented 3 rooms plus we had the opportunity to see the master suite... more

My boyfriend and I (both in our early 20s) both LOVED this hotel. We had never been to Mexico before and really enjoyed our trip. We stayed at Mi Casa en Cozumel for a total of 3 nights. The first two nights we stayed in the $70 room called the mango? I am not sure of the name but it... more

Mi Casa en Cozumel was picture perfect! We enjoyed our stay there immensely. To get it out of the way first I will post 3 minor details that could have been better and then I will tell how wonderful it was so the wonderful things are the image you are left with. 1.) The shower head was up very very... more
