We were in Isla for 3 weeks- one at the Avalon, one in the upstairs apt. at Gladys's and one at the El Milagro marina. We think Gladys's was the BEST! The apartment was clean, well equipped, and spacious- it was great having a full sized refrig! Teresa (who did the cleaning) came and taught us how to make salsa...... more

We stayed in the one bedroom on the second floor. We loved this little apartment. It had a good size kitchen, seperate bedroom with door for privacy. Bed was very comfortable, there was a single day bed in the lving room which doubled as a couch. Dining table, cable tv, Wifi. This was right in the town of Isla steps... more

Five of us stayed in Gladys' in July of 2007. We stayed in the large unit upstairs. At that time there was 1 King, 1 double, and 1 day bed in the unit. Gladys said the King could be removed and replaced with 2 twins. She was so much help. We were suppose to arrive the day after the hurricane... more
