We just returned from a long weekend stay at another hotel on Isla Mujeres. Because our hotel did not have their own dive operation, they offered to sign us up for two-tank morning dives at Hotel Garrafon for Friday and Saturday mornings. We have stayed at the Garrafon Hotel at least 6 times. The view is beautiful with a great balcony. The snorkeling cannot be beat. We love this hotel as it offers us peace away from North Beach, where the snorkeling is perfect. The Garrafon park is located next to this hotel and is where people go to pay to snorkel.... more

We have stayed at the Garrafon 4 times and plan on returning in September. The staff are so friendly and it has such a family atmosphere. The snorkling is great right off the shore, the rooms are clean and the view from the balcony is beautiful. We usually stay the first 4 days here and then move to the Media... more
