We found Casa Sirena to be an excellent choice for lodging in Isla Mujeres. The Casa, a beautifully redesigned colonial home in a quiet location is just steps to the heart of the village. Our rooms were attractive, comfortable and spotless. Air conditioning, ceiling fans and comfortable beds made for restful sleeping. Steve, a warm and gracious host, offered spot... more

This B&B is located behind the church in an old part of Isla Mujeres 2 short blocks from the shopping district. The amenities are superb from the pool on the patio to the bar on the roof. Each room is decorated individually, the staff friendly and helpful. Steve the owner will do anything to make your stay memorable. The breakfasts... more

This was our 2nd stay at Casa Sirena. All expectations were AGAIN exceeded. Steven is the best Innkeeper you will ever meet. We first met Steven last year during our first stay. This year seeing him again was like visiting a close friend. When you stay here, you are literally staing in his home located in a quiant village. The... more

My boyfriend and I spent a week here at the end of May, and could not have had a more enjoyable time. From the moment we got to the hotel, Steve was a gracious host, and immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. Our room was spacious (we were in room #4,btw), with plenty of space to unpack. There is... more

My friend Sue and I just got back from a fabulous four-night stay at Casa Sirena. If you want to get away from the aggressive, predictable tourism in Cancun, come to Isla Mujeres. The beach is just as beautiful but everything is so much more laid back. - Our room was gorgeous -- and the a/c nice and cold. Soft... more

In the swine flu outbreak of 2009... we stayed at two hotels while on vacation to Isla and Casa Sirena was by far the best and most enjoyable experience. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Steve with fresh citrus scented towels and "cervesas." He immediately made us feel right at home, i.e. giving us maps of the island,... more

We loved it! Although the island had some remarkable elements, Casa Sirena made the trip for us. Every single detail in that place was considered & taken care. We drove from Tulum, took the ferry over & walked to Casa. We had a beer in our handes & towels fresh from the fridge within 3 minutes of arriving. We stayed... more

Casa Sirena is a great place to escape to for a while. The included breakfasts are fabulous and the happy hour is a blast - especially if you like tequila tastings. The staff is very friendly - you will feel like family immediately. A few comments on Isla Mujeres: It is small and laid back with not much to do.... more

I last reviewed Casa Sirena in 2007 when I went for the first time on a lark. That year, I booked a return trip within two months of being home because I couldn't stand the idea of not going back as soon as I could. When I returned, I found the beautiful house made even more incredible by the addition... more
