We had heard some not very good things about the hotel and we normally stay in Centro but were unable to get a room for the night we wanted. As conference venue, the Fiesta Americana is wonderful. Otherwise, don't bother. Service was marginal in responding to complaints, charged for bottled water, even on the club floor. concierge gave incorrect directions or was not able to help with simple requests (such as where is Office Depot or where is a pharmacy). We stayed in this hotel after we could not get a room at the Hyatt; boy were we surprised. The Staff was simply excellent and very friendly, very accomodating and always available. I can't really complain about the hotel - it is pretty much what you would expect from a 4/5 star hotel such as this.
