Casa Mexilio certainly generates a diversity of responses from travelers. Here is our experience. We found the house to be clean and beautifully furnished. I think the owners must have become aware of some of the scathing reviews on this site, because they could not have been more accomodating. I canceled our first night by email a couple of days before I was due to arrive, and even though the reservation agreement entitled them to the night's charge, they were happy to drop it.... more
