Lovely place and nice people! Best experience the taxi trip in the night to San Pedro downtown and dining at "La Suzanna"! Breakfast in the normal, improvable for the room rates; we stayed in a suite, very clean and conforteable a little bit noise in the morning. Always was ok, but the owner present me the bill at the table... more

After returning from the Yucatan and reflecting on our travels we will always have warm memories of our stay at Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat. As a family of four with two young girls we really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and the authentic experience of the old hacienda. As a family that has travelled thoroughout the world often in very... more

My husband, teenage daughter and I stayed here for three nights in late March. Although our overall experience was positive, our view is somewhat more temperate than many others expressed here. We stayed in “Lilia”, one of the family rooms. We were initially dismayed when we entered the room because it had been closed up for some time and had... more

My wife and I stayed at the Hacienda in February 2008 for six nights. It was truly wonderful place run by two wonderful people, Iona and JR. We based our decision on the reviews here and were not disappointed. If you want the CannedCun fake Mexico experience, this place is not for you. If you want a relaxing time and... more

We stayed at the Hacienda in April 2007, based on the other reviews from this site. This was the last part of our trip, and we were coming from the extremely touristy coast, therefore this hacienda was a great way to immerse yourself in a much more authentic Mexican city at the same time holding on to the comforts of... more

My husband and I stayed with Iona and JR at their hacienda for three nights this month and it was wonderful. If you're looking for a sterile, brand-name experience, this isn't the right place for you (but then neither is most of Mexico outside of the Cancun resorts). Their hacienda is full of charm, clean, beautiful and very relaxing. The... more

We just returned from a 7 day stay at Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat. It was really a great experience. The Canadian couple who operate the Hacienda are warm, welcoming and very helpful - truly a home away from home. We stayed in the Donna de San Pedro room. It was spacious, clean and modern with excellent air conditioning. The Hacienda's... more

We stayed here for 3 days in early January, 2008. The Hacienda is located on the outskirts of San Pedro which is a short distance from Merida. If you would like to be near a local Mexican village with a lively central square, experience local customs (such as the ride on the motorcycle taxi), eat in small local restaurants, then... more

Our family stayed 3 nights in early January and found this to be an excellent place for us despite the gritty neighborhood location. The hacienda is nicely restored but not fancy, and our kids loved the parrots, peacocks, and other animals while roaming the grounds. To see a more grand hacienda (also surrounded by a gritty neighborhood), have lunch at... more

The Hacienda is located in San Pedro, a small pueblo about 20 minutes (by car) from the center of Merida. Taxi costs about $8 and there is a bus right outside the door for 50 cents that takes you right to the central bus station in Merida. The grounds are lovely. The pool is very nice and refreshing. Rooms are... more
