We booked a reservation for this place sight unseen based on its low price and promises of a safe and relaxing place to stay. When we arrived there was noone at the front "desk" and no answer when we rang the doorbell with a paper reading "ring for service" taped to it. The place was deserted. We called the cell... more

The Nameless Place does not need a name, because it is too spectacular for words to describe. Low rates. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Great environment to meet travelers of all types from around the globe. Secure as the behind of a nun. Now that is security! more

we were met at the bus station by a very friendly man named Raul, who owned the hostel. he took us to the hostel and we were happy to find that it reminded us of new orleans guest houses with old shutters, a large courtyard, and well ventilated rooms. It had a wonderful location near most locations in town. more

We stayed one night at the Nameless Place in Merida. It is quite a typical backpacker´s place. You can get a cheap bed in the dorm (50 Pesos), sanitary facilities are ok and security is good (security camaras and lockers). The location is great, just one block away from the zocalo and there is a nice inner courtyard and kitchen... more

We had booked a private room in advance for two nights at the Nameless Place. On arrival, it appeared decent from the sidewalk, but upon entering it was apparent that the hostel is very run down. Our room was a decent size, and with a private bathroom, balcony, closet, nightstand, and dresser, but the bathroom appeared very dirty, and there... more

After a month of travelling in the Yucatan, this was the poorest hostel we stayed at. It did have a good location and the requisite number of beds per room, but the rooms were poorly cleaned, the shower did not drain (at ALL - water and old hair was spilling onto the floor), and the general atmosphere was eerily deserted.... more
