Progresso and the extended area of Merida is fastly becoming one of my favorite places in Mexico. During a trip in mid January 2006 while staying at a somewhat run down beach front hotel on "el Malecon" or the seaside pormenade I met a couple from Canada who told me about the Los Cabos. Turned out to be GREAT advice.... more

it was my first time in progreso...the hotel manager was very helpfull and charming.he even took the time to take me around town in his car,,the studio i lived in was very clean and quiet,nice room with t.v. and air-conditionned i felt at home in this little suite...nothing fancy but very comfortable..i will surely go back..thanks Richard more
