I thoroughly enjoyed my two nights at the Casa Sacnicte! Ruy, Wilberth, and Lupita have created a truly charming B&B. They are happy to assist in whatever way possible, and do so without being the least bit intrusive. My room and the common areas of the B&B were beautifully decorated with an eye to the details that make for comfort... more
All three owners are friendly and helpful, and made no fuss about serving us breakfast whenever we happened to roll out of bed. The room was clean, the bathroom new, and the AC and fan were quiet. Our downstairs room, #5, was insulated from street noise, but unfortunately not from another guest talking on her cell phone in the courtyard.... more

My husband and I returned from a wonderful trip to the Yucatan in Feb. I would like to highly recommend Casa Sacnicte. We arrived to find gracious hospitality and a lovely gem of B&B. We had a great visit to Merida and enjoyed coming "home" to the Casa Sacnicte each evening to recharge. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful with information about Merida and the surrounding area. The breakfasts were great, with fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade granola, fresh coffee and orange juice, toast, and pastries. They even set up everything early on the... more

I never thought that the inn keeper mattered, all that mattered was the space. Was I wrong ! However, in addition to these helpful and wonderful people the inn is lovely. My friend and... more

We booked Sac Nite for 2 nights and wound up staying for 2 weeks. The B&B is run by Senior Ramirez and his extended family in their grandfather's house. All of family are very congenial and helpful--even to the extent of helping me learn some basic Spanish!.Some members of the family have lived for an extended period in the US ;... more
We stayed at Casa Sacnicte for 4 nights at Christmas time. This is a beautiful B&B with eight rooms so it is a very cozy size. Casa Sacnicte is close to the center of Merida. This can be a busy and noisy area, but stepping inside this B&B was like finding an oasis. Suddenly it was quiet and peaceful. Everything... more
