I traveled to Merida in early November, 2009 with a number of clients. We stayed at Casa Santiago and considered ourselves very fortunate to have selected such a wonderful environment. Dante attended to our every need, many times in advance of our making a request. Dante made special arrangements for our business meetings and associated necessities. We all found our... more

The Casa Santiago is situated a short walk from the Centro Historico and is located in 2 lovely old Casas that have been converted into a B&B. All of the bedrooms are very large with very comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms, they all open in to a large shared living area. We stayed in the Patio Room. They all share... more

A unique, beautiful and totally delightful place to stay. The rooms are spacious, tastfully decorated and comfortable. The gardens and pools relaxing. The staff is extremely helpful, often going out of their way to be of service. The food is excellent. more

Aaaaahh the Casa Santiago experience... everything said by others here on trip advisor perfectly accurate... beautiful spaces ,wonderfully comfortable beds, the silence of metre thick-stone walls, delicious breakfast fresh from the market, chilled wine and beer waiting on arrival ...an indulgent pool and garden oasis which is so pleasant it's really difficult to drag yourself away..but then Merida itself is... more

My trip was scheduled as a medical vacation and so a mixture of personal and business. I did a lot of walking throughout the Merida neighborhoods (in August heat) during the day between appointments. What a pleasure to return to the my cool room at the Casa Santiago safe haven and retreat! I was fortunate to have the run of... more

It is a lovely place. This is an extremely well keep place that just invites you to come in, sit down, relax, have a beer, sit by the pool, whatever you wish. There is plenty to do around town and in the area. It is close to the town's center and easy to walk to. Since we did not stay... more

This was my second visit to Casa Santiago. I stayed in the Patio Room last year and this year, Africa. Why did I return? Because both houses are like home. The beds are some of the most comfortable you'll find and the peacefulness of the rooms provide respite from the wonderful activities you can indulge yourself. Roberto's day trips are... more

My fiance and i stayed 7 nights, and wow what a great time, We used the pick up service from the airport, i do recommend this as this city is quite large and a bit confusing to get around in at first. Dante was there to greet us and show us around, he is so much fun and very helpful,... more

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. Upon arrival, we were given a full tour of the B&B and made to feel completely at home. This B&B is adjacent to another B&B owned and operated by the same wonderful people and so you get to have the use of 2 gardens and pools! It is... more

Casa Santiago is wonderful, they arranged our pick up at the airport, Frank greeted us with wine and beer as soon as we arrived, and from the moment we walked in the door, Dante and Estaben did everything possible to make our stay wonderful. Vince and the dogs had breakfast with us daily, and gave great advice for places to... more
