On July 4th, 2009, 28 of my closest friends and family traveled to the Mayan Riviera to take part in my wedding. We stayed at the Grand Bahia Principe Tulum, and it was Amazing! They we extremely welcoming and accommodating from our arrival, and through out the entire stay. From the moment we walked into the resort to the moment... more

This holiday was the first time in Mexico and we would all definately go back. The hotel and the facitilties were superb. The staff were so helpful and could not do enough for the family. The all inclusive was just that with no extra's to pay. The hotel was clean and very well maintained. The transport provided around the resort... more

This was my first time at this resort. I was very happy with my visit. I enjoyed the emenities that are available. There are 3 complexes & I only made it to 2 of them. I did prefer Tulum over Akumul though I didn't spend alot of time at Akumul, it did seem more family orientated than Tulum. I had... more

We stayed here for a week before Easter with 3 grandkids, 2 parents & 2 grandparents. Everyone loved it, until we tried the Barcelo Beach. This one is 3 star, Barcelo is 4+. Tulum is the best of the 3. Akumal has a mostly rock beach and Coba is right on the noisy freeway and you spend all day waiting... more

We just returned yesterday from a trip here - and had a fantastic time! We spent 10 days/9 nights. Private transport from airport is the way to go...we went to a different resort last year and thought private transport would be too expensive...when in fact...it was $50 cheaper..we used Cancun Transfers and it cost us $130...drivers were very professional and... more

This our first review. I used this service to research this vacation so I am returning the favour. We have stayed in Jamaica (Sandals) Dominican (RIU), now Gran Bahia Principe Tulum. A lot has changed in the 21years since I was last in Mexico. We just got home today. (2 adults, - 9 year old) We all had a great... more

My husband and I spent a week with our 3 children, ages 6,10 and 13. The beach is beautiful, so fighting over lounge chairs on the beach nor by the pool. The resort has 3 seperate areas, we stayed in Tulum, each section of the resort has its own beach, 3 pools and 4 restaurants. As a resort guest, you... more
