Maroma far exceeded our high expectations. We've never experienced a more gracious staff, nor better food in two decades of resort stays. The food was better than Frontera Grill/Topolobampo in Chicago (President Obama's favorite restaurant in Chicago). My wife and I spent 4 nights at Maroma for our honeymoon. Upon arrival in a complimentary black SUV, we were immediately greeted by the staff, a welcome margherita, and the resident guacamayas. This was our 7th trip to Maroma in the last 10 years. This time for my 60th B-day. We've beached it in Sardina, Costa Rica, Belize, Nevus, St. Barts, So. The beach was beautiful so is the resort. Staff went above and beyond, the service was unbelieveable! Had a great time telling everyone about our trip and Maroma is the place to stay. more
My wife and I went to Maroma for our honeymoon and we're planning another trip back during the Christmas Holidays and our 1st anniversary. There are no words that I can say that does this hotel and its staff justice. The most friendly, accomodating and entertaining staff that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. more
