If you see the reviews there are some complaints about a hard bed, and it was indeed hard, you can request them to put a mattress cover over the mattress and that made the bed feel better. For what we paid, it was fabulous. The hotel was prettier than the pictures posted on this site (its YELLOW!) Very friendly staff, clean, convenient location to beach and 5th Ave., but away from the crowds. 15 blocks to the ferry/bus station/collective vans, but we like to walk so no problem for us.
