Shangri-la will be open for two more years with most of the old staff and attmosphere. We've been there for years and look forward to at least two more. Owners tells us it is to be freshened up, a few new things, but the same atmosphere. more

We got back yesterday from a six day stay. Our first impression was not so good. We payed 455.00 a night for an ocean view room. We recently stayed here for 6 nights in a beachfront bungalow in Adventura section. Location was wonderful. Seemed more private than other rooms. Great front porch with two hammocks. Rooms are a bit basic but very clean and ample room with sitting area and seperate bathroom with shower and double sinks. Great windows with shutters which allows great ocean breeze... more
