If there is anything to be said about the Gran Porto Real is that its location is quite possibly the best in all of Playa. GPR is located approx an 8 minutes walk from the central downtown area. We came here for a family vacation, I was not all the way sure what we were getting into. For a family with children this is a great value. Me and my wife stayed here in june, the hotel is just magnificent. The lobby is incredible. All the staff work really hard to make you feel welcomed. Valet parking was good and rooms service was good. The hotel has a couple of restaurants of which my favorite was the italian. The beach of the hotel is not so great.... more

Rooms were spacious and clean (some days housekeeping came late in the day and they never gave us water even when we laid an empty water bottle next to their tip, strange!)
