As frequent visitors to Playa del Carmen we have had several fantastic experiences with the Playa Maya. Its really great having such a relaxing, intimate and comfortable hotel on the beach in downtown Playa. Eating their great food with "toes in sand" on the beach just can't be beat! more

I travelled with my 10 year old daughter. We very much enjoyed our stay at Playa Maya right on the beach. My first reaction was about how small the place is yet it's comfortable. my husband and i just returned from a 4 night stay at playa maya for our 10th anniversary. it is a lovely, peaceful hotel. friendly staff, great location, clean & comfortable rooms. the food was wonderful - breakfast on the beach and the yummiest fish tacos for lunch. we would definitely go back! more

this hotel was fabulous. breakfast was amazing everyday. if ur used to the fast-paced hectic life in the states there is nothing better than having breakfast prepared fresh daily. the hotel staff was wonderful and very pleasant. i will definately be staying there again on my next trip to mexico more
