Stayed at Playa Azul for five nights in February. Its an extremely clean hotel with a very helpful and sweet staff. The restaurant is pricey though good for lunch and dinner. We stayed here 2 nights after New Years & I think it is one of the best spots along the beach and well away from the crowds. We were hoping to get a cabana but got an absolutly fantastic 2nd floor room which I can highly recomend for the views & more importantly the breeze as it gets hot here.... more
