Our family of four stayed at Posada Yum Kin for 5 nights in March. The owners were fabulous - loaned us equipment for our kids, pointed us to good local shops, just hung out and chatted and made us feel comfortable in every way. The hotel is a little hard to find but is totally worth the search. Absolutely beautiful rooms, decorated in excellent taste. excellent service. This was such a beautiful place to stay at. Our room was lovely and the main gardens were breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Be sure you rent a car otherwise you are quite far from the beach and downtown areas. Tulum is a great little bustling town. more

PYK was a quiet little place off the beaten path but not far from downtown. It was simple and clean. The courtyard is even prettier than the photos. I loved the plants and natural wood furniture/decor. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. I would not recommend walking to downtown. Bikes and taxis are available but renting a car was great... more
