I was full of hope and then ended my stay very disillusioned...

It seemed to be one of the few places along the Tulum beach road that had affordable rooms with private bathrooms so we stayed there for 5 nights paying 2500 pesos - you can get the price down if you stay for a longer period.

The location is good, near quite a number of decent restaurants and in walking distance to good beaches as well as being on one too.

But unfortunately the room wasn't very clean, the shower was a cold drip which aimed at the wall so difficult for people of average height to get wet, the rooms were not cleaned while we were there so the bins were not emptied while we were there either (you can't put toilet paper down the loo in Mexico so they do need emptying often), they only have 3 sun lounger things which is not enough for all the guests and what left a sore taste in our mouths was that they seemed to treat Mexican guests much better than those who were not which we... more
