We arrived there after a recommendation in the local town. Got our bags stolen from our car. But the guys at the hotel were really understanding about our situation and give us time to sort out our problem. The hotel has cool surfy look, spacious, cosy rooms, a lush, green chill out area outside, and as already said the hospitality was... more

THis is an amazing find, tucked away behind the main street in Tulum. Good location, a short walk to all shops and restaurants. Sean and Joshua are the nicests hosts we have encountered in Mexico so far and nothing is a bother. We meant top stay a few days and ended up here almost a week. THe best pillows and... more

You can tell that the owners of this hotel (a Texan and a Mexican)really care about their business and their customers. They are just starting up and are on a bit of a tight budget, but they provide great service. I'm glad we stayed here. If I go back I'll ask to stay in one of the palapas with a... more

We found some great reviews here on Tripadvisor stating Secret Garden was a clean, affordable place to stay so we booked a stay for three nights in october. I was blown away when we arrived. It was more than clean and affordable. The room had a cool vibe and the attention to detail made me amazed. It is a treat... more

My wife and I recently stayed 3 nights at the Secret Garden Hotel in Tulum and had a fantastic experience. The first decision of where to stay in Tulum is whether to be on the beach or in the town. We're big beach lovers but not into the whole "resort" feel, so we opted for staying in town which was... more

This is my second stop in Tulum at the very peaceful and relaxed, Secret Garden Hotel. The first time my bro and I came only for a couple of days and loved it so much we stayed a week. Beautiful in every way possible, each room is individually decorated, clean, comfortable and the attention to detail.....incredible. Lovely breezes sweep through... more

As I am looking forward to another trip to Tulum and my second stay at the Secret Garden, I wanted to share and encourage others to have the same experience! Where to begin, first Tulum it's self has true magic in the people and the atmosphere. Part of the reason I love the Secret Garden is because of Josh, the... more

Couldn´t have been happier with Secret Garden Hotel. Recently renovated, the rooms are brand new, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and I couldn´t believe the price for what you get. It´s essentially hostel prices for private, AC rooms! I walked to everything in town and caught a bus to the beach (10 pesos) and returned by taxi (40... more

Tulum, just 2 hours south of Cancun, and the Secret Garden, just 2 minutes from the bus station in Tulum, makes this hot destination a affordable must! Secret Garden is 2 blocks off the main street in town and within walking or biking distance to all of Tulum's sights. By taxi, the beach is only 40 pesos away. The rooms... more
