I'd stay at one of the other hotels. Down the road there's a great little italian place with an amazing restaurant - go there instead! The hotel used to be very popular, and the famous restaurant is ok considering the price - supposedly one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. But it's worn down... This was my second stay in Zamas. We stayed in Cabana number 10 across the road. I just love Zamas: the quirky rooms, the colourful bathrooms, the heavenly restaurant, the pelicans fishing in the sea. It is not a luxurious place but it is peaceful and relaxing.
