We had dinner here but were staying elsewhere. Pizza was terrible and wine was awful and all overpriced. Music was loud but service was attentive. Since it was dark even the location did not matter and car headlights from the road were a distraction. more

This was our first time to Tulum and we were not able to come down prior to our wedding to check out different welcome dinner locations. We had to book everything based on internet reviews and photos. I first found out about Zamas through two people...one a close friend who stayed at their hotel and loved it and another through... more

Zamas lived up to the hype in terms of its breathtaking setting, low key style and beautiful furnished cabana. However, beware of lying in the hammocks! Despite being sprayed with repellant, we were bitten incessantly by mosquitors. The fan in our room was also completely ineffective (though a standalone one was added on request), and we were surprised to be... more

We had a blast at Zamas!! The staff went out of their way to provide information and whatever we needed to make our stay enjoyable. No way to improve on the stunning ocean views, the refreshing onshore breezes, the hammock on our front deck, the spacious and colorful rooms, the relaxing calm free of crowds, the white sand beach, the... more

Zamas is the perfect place to stay if you just want to get away from it all and simply enjoy the beach and time with your friends/loved one. Zamas is along a nice stripe of beach, and has a great little restaurant where we ate all of our meals. I recommend getting one of the huts on the beach....they are... more

We stopped by for breakfast on our way to the ruins on the recommendation of our lodge owners. We had a delicious breakfast at a table right on the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed one more day and spent a night here. What a lovely, quaint place. more

We pulled in because my copilot suggested it, and wasn't all that impressed. No hola or buenos dias until a second server arrived. Shabby rocky beach, super trafficky road, and very windy. Tables were rickety, and upon ordering fish tacos (very expensive tequila ones) I received chicken tacos. At this point the experience needed to be ended, they were edible... more

My time at Zamas was AMAZING. GREAT food, dancing, music, beach. Its 10 minutes from everything I wanted to do / see (10 minutes from Tulum Ruins, Gran Cenote, Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, snorkeling). "Que Fresco" restaurant has the best food in the area and the best margaritas. more

Zamas quite literally rocks! With a variety of excellent live music every night in their uncommonly large and perfectly situated restaurant, Zamas excels past its competitors on the crowded yet still peaceful beaches of Tulum. We stayed for several nights in an extremely spacious, clean and breezy room. David, at the front desk, was as pleasant and helpful as you... more

Zamas is nice. The rooms (cabana 7) was great except for 2 things. 1. Noise level from the road. It is too close to the raod. 2. Noise level from resturant was load particularly when there was entertainment. he beach is very small and somewhat disappointing. We went to other beaches during the day. We loved Tulum and will go... more
