I have been to the Daimante K before and loved it... and must say t still is a great place, but I am confused about the pricing... one night I payed 800 pesos..then the next 500 for the same room just different people tacking the $$ and the manger claimed that someone made a mistake.... I think they are all... more

I was surprised to read bad reviews of a place my friend and I thought was paradise. We had a great time at this little bungalow hideaway. We negotiated a good deal to stay for 4 nights then eneded up staying longer. Authentic looking minimally decorated bungalows sit at a good distance to one another and the hotel features its... more

The last of its kind, and threatened by development under the guise of returning the area to nature. This little hotel is simple, of the grid, affordable, beautifully maintained, esthetically pleasing, and offers people an alternative to the horrible and chaotic and environmentally destructive developments along this once beautiful coastline. The service and food is excellent, the staff kind and... more

I'm done! I've been going there for 15 years. Even before Diamonte owned it. It's the most heavenly spot (under the canopy of coconut trees) and someone insightful layed it out in such an interesting way. The little paths to no where, the privacy from the rocks on both sides, the little private cove. It was very well run in... more

At first glance the Diamante K is really diamante. It is the only place with a private little beach and compared to other hotels on Tulum's beaches it is still reasonably priced. The friendly lady of the reception showed us around, so we had the chance to see all the different cabanas. In the basic ones (about 500 mexican pesos... more

I have stayed there a couple times over the years. It's funky, rustic and a nice change of pace. Bed are not that comfortable and if you are worried about putting on makeup dont stay here. No more than one night at a time for me, but its "vale la pena" (worth while) more

My wife and I were in a honeymoon trip in riviera Maya, and in my opinion Tulum is the most beatiful location of all, even though overpriced. We saw a lot of places before choosing Diamante K, and it was very refreshing to find a place that offers more moderate Cabanas for reasonable prices (comparing Tulum's prices). The Cabanas are... more

The spot is amazing, with a secluded paradise beach, however service was very poor. What I would have expected if I were 20 years younger (now i m 39). more

I agree with the beautiful beach that folks describe at the Diamante K, so I won't go into that anymore (I did find it troubling though that because of the growing ocean pollution problem that hotel staff had to rake the garbage off the white sands beach very early every morning). What I found to be the most disconcerting was... more

We booked in for one night then stayed for three. The cabanas are basic but clean. The restaurant has okay food. (try other places too, theres the best food in Tulum) The little beach in front of the cabanas feels private and secluded but you can also walk to other beaches close by. Lighting is dim at night, take torches... more
