I am a bit surprised about some negative comments regarding people staying at La Vita e Bella. We stayed 2 nights in May '09 and it was an unforgettable stay. Lovely cabanas near shore. Perfect accommodation and friendly staff. Breathtaking beaches and a place to relax. Due to low occupancy rate a bit quiet in the restaurant and surprisingly late... more

.........at La Vita e Bella. We spent 8 great days at La Vita in mid-March.It was just what we were expecting, a comfortable, rustic cabana, good food, cold drinks, all on a spectacular beach.Very laid back and casual. Our cabana was located right on the beach, about 100 feet from the ocean. It was set up on a slight bluff,... more

My husband and I just return from La Vita e Bella. It was a lovely experience from the time we were greeted by Sandy and Julia ( the assistant manager), until the time we checked out with ease. Every member of the staff was gracious and accomodating throughout our stay. The bungalows exceeded our expectations. The beach is absolutely beautiful,... more

If Tulum is supposed to be famous for the eco chic resorts, this one has forgotten the chic. I had been to Tulum in the past and I had chosen the north side of the beach hoping that the water would be calmer. That wish was fulfilled. The water was calm, warm and turquoise as I had never seen it... more

My wife and I stayed at La vita e bella for 3 nights, should have been more but due to messed up flights we were 2 days late, they were very understanding about the missed nights and only charged us for 1 of them, which was fine considering they were fully booked every night. The stretch of beach here is... more

I would like to agree with the NY reviewer. I stayed a La Vita April 08 and it is an absolutely stunning place. But there were some problems. Staff ignoring you in the restaurant and were huddled together and it made you feel awkward. The management took everything I said out of context and wrote as the NY reviewer said... more

This place sounded nice but I was leery of booking here for my March vacation as so many reviewers on TA had said that La Vita e Bella overbooked or informed numerous people who showed up (and who had reserved and paid in advance) that their reservations weren't being honored. (Note: my vacation is planned for March '09, but TA... more

We want to respond to this person’s complaint about a cancelled reservation. 1. La Vita e Bella works to avoid reservation conflicts such as that occurred here. Since 2000, over 99.9% of the time we get it right. 2. La Vita made the guest aware of a conflict with their reservation and cancelled it over 30 days in advance of...

We stayed one night at La Vita e Bella in Tulum, and found many issues. First, the screen door to our room fell off, the shower head was clogged, the blinds in the bathroom wouldn't close properly, there was a power outage overnight and in the morning, we had run out of water. The property is nice and the location... more

La Vita e Bella Hotel responds to all guests needs for assistance. This guest never directly complained or requested assistance to anyone at the hotel that we are aware. This is possibly because they were only staying 1 night. We hope that all of our guests would take a minute to let us know if they have a problem while...

I’ll just start with a simple statement: This is the best beach I have ever been to. Hands down. This place is literally straight out of a Corona commercial. You can sit all day staring out at the gorgeous crystal clear ocean or walk around in this silky, powder white sand, or take a dip in the ocean. It is... more

Originally I thought I would want an all inclusive resort but I quickly realized how if I had stayed in such a place I would have missed out on an amazing experience and culture. From the moment we arrived at La Vita e Bella everything was perfect. I've never had an easier check in at a hotel. They knew who... more
