The resort is a small assembly of simple but fully functional cabins situated in a quit and scenic waterfront property. We had a large cabin situated on the beach and with two double beds, whcih would easily accomodate a small family with kids. Most cabins have a wonderful porch with hammocks and otehr fun things directly in front on the... more

My husband and I stayed in a romantic garden cabin at Hemingway’s for four nights as part of a 10-day trip to the Yucatan. We relaxed, lounged on the beach, read good books in hammocks, stuffed ourselves with delicious seafood (and margaritas and mojitos for hubby) and generally had an amazing stay. We didn’t participate in any nightlife but that... more

This was our second stay at Hemingway..............we returned because of the amazing location and scrumptious food at the restaurant. The restaurant did not disapoint with wonderful fresh lobster, shrimp, calamari, fish pasta. The pasta was fresh, the view is dynamic, the atmosphere romantic. The restaurant and service rocks! Unfortunately the garden view cabana at $160 per night was not as... more

For us, traveling around Yucatan for three weeks, Hemingway where the most pricey place we stayed. Yes, it's beautiful, lovely beach, nice hamocks, great view, peace and harmony. But serious, $ 230 to $ 250 for a cabana (with seaview) pr night is overprice! Well, I guess thats how it is in Tulum... One night were more than enough for... more

We are empty nesters that have traveled extensively in the USA, Europe and many times in Mexico. I did 7000 miles on my motorcycle last year there and we have reasonable expectations for our lodging. This was with out any doubt the worst we have ever had! To pay $230 a night for zero privacy and a bed that is... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hemingway the first week in November. We stayed in Boa, one of the three oceanfront cabanas, closest to the reception/restaurant. Our cabana was simple yet romantic. We had a spacious bedroom with two large beds and a sitting area, a decent size bathroom, and a perfect porch that had incomparable views of the ocean... more

OK, excuse the terrible headline. But, I've just got back from Tulum and really did have a fantastic stay at Hemingway. The sea front cabanas really are the type of huts you dream about. Amazing views right out to sea only broken by the odd palm tree, hammock and the most brilliant swinging sunbeds - perfect for cold beers. Can't... more

We booked 'Arrecife' a ocean view cabaña in high season through www.differentworld.com for 4 nights. When we arrived it seems that this was not available and the owner (Paula) proposed us to spend one night in what she said was a ocean view cabaña and the rest in a front view cabaña. We stayed at 'Iguana' (what is not a... more

Maybe July isn't the best time to stay in a cabana in Tulum. The Tulum beach is breathtaking and when we arrived we felt like we were in a Corona Beer commercial. We stayed in the Tortuga Cabana and all was good until bedtime. They turn the electricity off at 11 pm, so no late night reading and you need... more

My friend and I stayed at Hemingway for 10 nights in June of this year, and we absolutely loved it! We stayed in the beachfront Buho cabana, and other than the first 2 nights when Tropical Storm Arthur was battering the coast, it was dry and comfortable. There is a thatched roof and the windows on the sides of the... more
