We have been coming to Tulum for years and actually stayed at Milamores when it was known as Casa Magna. We did not know there was a change in ownership until we showed up to Tulum as we have done many times and went in to inquire about a room. Before, the energy of Casa Magna was full of light... more

This is a note of appreciation for the wonderful service we received at the Neville/Evans wedding reception on Monday, February 23, 2009. Your staff and facility were fabulous and everything was just perfect. The evening meal was wonderful and the cooking class you arranged for us could not have been better. Your chef was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and very willing... more

We wanted to leave in the middle of the night. The place felt strangely creepy. It is set far from the town, which means a long drive to get a bite to eat. The place is huge like a haunted house. I would recommend staying at one of the more charming places that line the road into Tulum and feel... more

Casa Magna is now run by a beautiful couple, Pamela and Alberto - they are the friendliest, and warmest people you could wish to meet. They make this amazing home feel like you're in their home by ensuring you have everything you could possibly need and even providing the best chef in Tulum to take care of all your hungry... more

I read many reviews here before booking my first trip to Tulum. I will admit that I was somewhat hesitant to stay at Milamores because of the many negative reviews about the property when it had previous owners and was known as Casa Magna. I'm glad I ignored that concern and took a chance on Milamores. It was fabulous! The... more

My wife and I have stayed at a lot of different hotel on Tulum beach over the nine yrs we have been going there. Sometimes once a year and like this year more than twice. We have stayed at this property during both incarnations of management/ownerships. No, not Pablo's but, Melissa of Amansala/Bikini Boot Camp fame and the current owner/management... more

Milamores was recommended to my husband and I by our hosts at La Selva Mariposa in Marcario Gomez as an excellent place to use a beach club in Tulum. We stayed 7 nights in the jungle, but wanted to spend some time at the beach during the day, so we decided to try Milamores. Formerly Casa Magna, it is under... more

I did not stay here on my recent trip to Tulum, but I did walk past the place every day on the beach for 6 days. This place, consisting of 2 large villas (one the former Casa Magna) is on a beautiful stretch of beach near the biosphere. As such, one would expect a certain sensitivity to neighboring properties and... more

Amazing *New* ownership. So I read all the reviews of Mil Amores and I recently stayed there for about 2 weeks (actually got married on the beach there). I will put photos and more in shortly, but I felt compelled to post a note quickly. Mil Amores used to be called Casa Magna. It was initially built by the famous... more

Mil Amores was kind enough to host my wedding reception. Pamela and her boyfriend Alberto have been managing Mil Amores since 12/27/08, so please consider this when reading any reviews before 2009. Pamela and her staff bent over backwards to make sure all of our guests were happy, that the environement was romantic, and that you felt at home. They... more
