I wanted to stay in a beach cabana for my birthday and i found the perfect location at Papaya Playa!......The people were very welcoming,the beach was lovely and my room was tidy and comfortable. ... i would recommend this place to anybody wanting to stay in a cozy bubble by the sea! more

The location is nice, right on the beach, but that is all there is. Cabanas are poorly furnished, well they are not at all furnished. At least they could put in a shelf or a closet, and two chairs would be nice. It's all very humid and I hate that. Toilets and showers were nice. It's far away from Tulum... more

We stayed for 3 nights on a whim and loved it. The staff are very friendly and helpful, although there was a double booking on our first night. Once we were in our cabin you couldn't have asked for a more peaceful, beautiful place to get away from it all. The view from the cabin was amazing. more

The Papaya Playa is located right on the beach, even though it is a ways out of town. The place was convenient and a great value! However, the rooms are very basic.
