Punta Allen feels like the last place on earth - tiny and literally at the end of the road. It's the antithesis of Cancun and tourist-ridden Mayan Riveria to the north. Our 10 day stay in Punta Allen was fantastic. I am loathe to say much because, selfishly, we don't want it to change. We avoid touristy spots and are a northwest hiking/camping family...so we prefer rustic stays close to nature. That is what we got.
