If you want quiet solitude on beautiful beaches, with wonderful people and good food, this is it. Everything Ocho Tulum celebrates the unspoiled environment in an eco-friendly way. It is complete escapism and wonderuflly Zen. I have to go back. more

We stayed in a partial view room at Ocho for four days at the end of September. We had a great view of the ocean and loved the small balcony attached to our room. The beach was right outside the door of our room, which was incredible! Our room was kept very clean and had a safe and a table... more

My boyfriend and I are obsessive travel researchers... before going to Tulum we read every review on TripAdvsior and looked into every possible hotel we could stay at. After months of research we decided on Ocho... and it did not disappoint. The beach for one is breathtaking - out of this world beautiful... not only that but our beach front... more

First off, I love Mexico. It is such a beautiful country with such wonderful people. So kind, thoughtful and helpful. I have been to several different resorts and thought that I would try out something a bit more intimate and I made the perfect choice. The staff was wonderful, the food delicious (my teenager is still raving about it and... more

so out of the way, off the beaten path, yet the service and food were fantastik. i went there to decompress from my 6 day work week in busy soho manhatten. i understand the service industry well. these people understand it to a tee. just the 3 days there were enough to make me feel mentally and physically great for... more

Upon our arrival at 8pm, the chef at the restaurant, led us to our room. Simply done, but beautiful and comfortable. Seems like the entire staff is good at juggling multiple roles. You can ask anyone for ANYTHING and either they themselves will do it or they will find someone to do it for you! We also had an 18... more

My wife and I just got back from a week long honeymoon at Ocho, and we were extremely pleased. Ocho and Tulum in general are a whole different world from the hustle and bustle that you'd find in Cancun. For our honeymoon, we wanted to avoid any kind of all-inclusive, big chain hotel, and Ocho was the perfect spot. The... more

We loved our stay at Ocho. I guess July is technically "off-season" for Tulum, but for us it was perfect. The quieter beach meant that although we had reserved a partial ocean view cabana, we were upgraded upon arrival to the wonderful beach front cabanas. Our room was spotless, spacious, airy and very rustically romantic (love the double shower)! All... more

I took a quick trip to Tulum in early July -- just needed a dose of the tranquility and relaxation that Tulum provides so well. A friend had recommended a new hotel option to me, Ocho Tulum. I usually stay at another establishment, but because she raved so heavily about Ocho, I decided to try it. I arranged an airport... more

AMAZING! An upscale, CLEAN, eco-resort with so much to offer. I have never been in a place with a nicer, more welcoming staff. The food is GREAT - they even offer daily vegan specials! The yoga studio is beautiful and has one of the best instructors I have ever practiced with. Ocho has free kayaks, snorkel gear & you can... more
