Efie tended to our every need when my husband, 24 yr old son and I stayed for 3 nights on April 1st, 2013. Delicious, healthy breakfasts, advice on the best time to go to Balos - a magical place nearby (see photos). Rooms/beds were comfortable with cheerful, colorful ambiance. A perfect place to visit the NW section of Crete.

Small friendly hotel, with personal service and very clean rooms with attention for details. Abundant breackfast in pleasant surroundings. Nice view from the balcony. Very good price/quality ratio. Some good restaurants nearby.

The Hotel is really small, only 5 rooms, but clean and nice. Would highly recommend the idyllic traditional hotel Kaviliani. The hotel owner went out of her way to make our stay comfortable in every way. Only downside was that the highly recommended hotel taverna is closed for summer 2012, but luckily there is an excellent traditional taverna only 50m away.

This is very nice small family hotel near Balos. We really like our room and overall feel of that place. Rooms has balcony, made in simple but traditional native style.

A warm welcome, an excellent view from the rooms and terraces onto the village and bay, clean basic but spacious rooms. Breakfast was very varied and prepared and brought to your table with heart! Only minor point was the lack of hot water in the bathroom but that could be temporary.
