The location is fabulous. You leave your curtains open so you wake in time to see the sun rise over the canyon. The rooms were comfortable and relatively clean. The service and food were horrible, as other reviewers have noted. There was no lingering over a meal to chat, because the staff told you they need to set up now... more

One stays at this posada for the location and the views which are breathtaking. We visited here as part of a tour through the Copper Canyon. amazing place with fantastic views of the canyon - rooms are spotless and modern - tiled and brightly painted with balconies. restaurant service is a bit limited not much choice off the standard set menu and the bar shuts far too early with no warning (10pm when we were there!) although the hotel was almost empty so perhaps understandable -... more
