It is not often one gets to sleep at the edge of a canyon. The view in this hotel can't be compared to anything else. If you are looking for a place with WIFI or telephone the Copper Canyon is not the place for you. IT IS REMOTE and home to the Tamahura Indians who are cave dwellers. The food... More

There is nothing to recommend this hotel other than the view and a guided walk down the canyon ( if you are fit). The guests were there to suit the staff. Dinner at 7 pm, if you were not there they knocked on your door. No choice of food (roast chicken with salsa, spaghetti, no sauce and vegetables). You were... More

Why they claim it is 5star hotel? Because it is the best in village - they told me that. No WIFI, no SPA, no phone, no 24 hours desk or even fridge! No TV (but I don't care). And by night we were told by some guy that WE CAN NOT GO OUT! Refferring to european standards it would be... More

Although our room was fine, with absolutely incredible views off of the balcony, the hotel itself is very touristy (I know, what would you expect in Copper Canyon!) By that I mean, the meals are a cattle call, where everyone sits down at the same time, is served exactly the same food and portions, and the food isn't particularly inspired.... More

A very comfortable hotel with European Plan (3 Meals). Food was nicely prepared and the hotel rooms all have a private balcony overlooking the Copper Canyon. The only downside was that the beds were a little too hard however, everything else was superb.

Room very nice and clean. The views very just amazing. The staff very friendly and the food ok. We were travelling on our own so quite enjoyed sitting with other people while we were eating. My husband particularly enjoyed the happy hour. We stayed for 2 nights so managed to do some long, beautiful walks down in the Canyon and... More

The view of the canon is fantastic, the humming birds at the terrace create a very nice ambient, don't drink the coffee or the tea horrible quality, food no comments they need a chef, no choices at all, no choice on vine, very poor. Rooms are spacious but beds are very hard, horrible beds, food service waiter always seem to... More

As most guests at this hotel we arrived on the Chepe from Los Mochis. The staff is very friendly, always asked if we needed something etc. The rate included all meals, and although there is only one menu and no a la carte it is very nice, beverages are extra. Our room was on the second floor, nice and clean.... More

This hotel was included as part of a 8-day package tour from El Paso, Texas through Mexico’s Copper Canyon to El Fuerte and back. We didn’t have a choice of hotels, but who cares? This place was wonderful! Glad we didn’t experience the food poisoning or bad meals of the earlier poster. On the contrary, everything with our stay was... More

A train to copper canyon took almost 7 hours from El Fuerte to this place.... When we arrived, I noticed most of the customers are elderly people part of large groups (age above 65). We were definitively the youngest persons around We had NO choice on the food (server in a large dining room sitting on large tables - no... More
