It is the first time I returned to a hotel when it was even better than the first time I was there. The service was friendly and obliging. The rooms were large with private bathrooms. The breakfasts were fantastic - they came with the room. It was a great Mexican experience. more

San Miguel de Allende is an expensive town as more and more Americans move to live there. This is a good value hotel a few minutes walk from El Jardin. The rooms are a good size and comfortable temperature. Some have a nice view of the internal courtyard. Some look out towards walls and trees but have the sunshine. The... more

Traveled with a group during Thanksgiving week to SMA. Arrived at 7 a.m. and allowed to check in immediately. Hotel has a nice restaurant, elevator and rooms overlooking the patio. Room was clean & beds comfortable. Great location-just a short walk to the Plaza, across from the Institute Allende where you will find a cafe with a great inexpensive breakfast,... more

The hotel grounds are beautiful and it was nice to be a few blocks away from the main plaza. I find you see more that way. The rooms were satisfactory/clean but plain. The rooms overlooking the manicured grounds also had a nice view of the cathedrals. more

The rooms at the Polsada Aldea are comfortable. It is very well located, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It is a good location for catching taxis. The swimming pool is lovely, clean, well kept, warm water. The restaurant is good, and the waiters attentive. I recommend it. more

This was a great hotel to stay at if you like to swim, relax or have a massage. Lupito at Bamboo, on the property, gave an incredible massage. It is also in a great location. Loved that the Art Institute is across the street. The food at the hotel was very good and nice people working there. The room was... more

This hotel is perfectly located, set well back from a busy street about six blocks from the main historic center. It is within easy walking distance of almost everything of interest. A major art center, the Instituto Allende, is across the street, and it has a good restaurant. There is an excellent convenience store a few doors away. The rooms... more
