Do not go to the Hotel d'Allende in San Miguel Allende. They make their hotel sound cheap and great on the website but it is a hole. Made us pay 2 nights in advance to hold the room and when we saw the place and asked for our $ back they refused. When we complained, they treated us very rudely,... more

This place advertises itself as a great deal on the web and looks decent in the pictures. Don't be sucked in! It is not nearly as nice as other cheaper accomodations. The rooms are shabby and run down. This place doesn't take credit cards and made us deposit 2 nights in advance in order to hold the room. When we... more
