Casita Quetzal is in a great location a few blocks from the Jardin. I would describe it as the little sister of Casa Quetzal, a more luxurious hotel. Casita Q. has 3 guestrooms on two levels in a narrow building. They are small, clean and nicely decorated. A self serve breakfast is served up on the rooftop, which is reached by a small wrought iron spiral staircase---the area has 2 tables, an open area covered by a roof only. There was coffee, tea, juice available, bread that one could toast, fruit, plain yogurt and boxed kiddie cereals. The same menu offered daily. It happened to be rainy and cold when I was there, so climbing up a slippery staircase in rain to eat outdoors on the rooftop, made it unpleasant as I was freezing! So, I would choose this hotel in warm weather as there is no indoor area to eat in or relax. Also, another note, there is no telephone in the rooms.
