Comfortable and reasonably-priced hotel in a village conveniently close to the Nuremberg-Linz autobahn. The building is of great antiquity and while that's clear from the outside, unfortunately the interior has been ruthlessly renovated leaving it rather charmless.
There's a pleasant and quiet outdoor terrace area where you can have meals overlooking the village square. Fairly basic German menu. Generous breakfast where we were offered boiled or fried eggs.
Perhaps surprisingly for such a small place, we were woken by noisy drunks outside our window in the middle of the night. Probably less of a risk of this if you ask for rooms overlooking the square rather than the side road.
