The location was good. About 10 minute walk to the marina and downtown. Thus it was a good compromise between a resort and a hotel. The facilities at the hotel were good, big pool, several restaurants, beach facilities. The service was generally good, but probably not 4 star quality. I love the Rose & the Blanco! I went for family reunion and the staff was patient and catered to all 30 of us! We've stayed at The Rose many times. 3 times in different Penthouses and this time in a one bedroom with 2 bathrooms. They aim to please here with a very nice staff.
